Proverbs 2:4-5
4 If you
seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will
discern the fear of the LORD And discover the knowledge of God.
CONSIDER
CONSEQUENCES (PROVERBS 22:24-25; 17:14, 19; 26:21; 25:19; 13:20; 14:22)
22:24 Do not associate with a man given to anger; Or go with a
hot-tempered man,
22:25 Or you will
learn his ways And find a snare for yourself.
17:14 The beginning of strife is like letting out water, So abandon
the quarrel before it breaks out.
17:19 He who loves transgression loves strife; He
who raises his door seeks destruction.
26:21 Like charcoal to hot embers and wood to fire,
So is a contentious man to kindle strife.
25:19 Like a bad tooth and an unsteady foot Is
confidence in a faithless man in time of trouble.
13:20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, But
the companion of fools will suffer harm.
14:22 Will they not go astray who devise evil? But
kindness and truth will be to
those who devise good. NASB
